Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has lavished praise on the Atlas Lions of Morocco following their historic win against Brazil.
The North Africans defeated the Selecao 2-1 in a friendly in Tangier last weekend.
Sofiane Boufal gave Morocco the lead in the first half after the hosts weathered early pressure from the Brazilians.
Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro equalised for Brazil in the 67th minute.
Abdelhamid Sabiri sealed the win for the Moroccans 11 minutes from time.
Oliseh took to social media to celebrate the former African champions.
“Simply Awesome. The concise “seriousness” Morocco, Senegal & some African Nations are giving to their football development is not solely beautiful, but will economically bring a positive Tsunami like effect for them. Allez en avant, L’Afrique !!,” the former midfielder wrote on his Twitter handle.
Walid Regragui’s side will face Peru in another friendly on Tuesday.
It would be recalled that Morocco made it to the semi-finals at the 2022 FIFA World in Russia, the first African country to achieve the feat.
