The kick-off date for the 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League season has been postponed for the second time.
Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL board, Davidson Owumi made the announcement through a letter made available to newsmen.
The new season was earlier scheduled to commence on August 26 but was later postponed to September 9.
Owumi stated that the new kick-off date will be announced later.
Shooting Stars and Plateau United were earlier expected to clash in the opening fixture this weekend.
Enyimba are the current NPFL champions.
