Taylor Swift devastated after stabbing incident against fans

American singer, Taylor Swift said she’s “in complete shock” following the stabbing attack at a dance and yoga class in the United Kingdom themed around her music.

The Merseyside Police confirmed Tuesday that a 9-year-old girl had died of her injuries in a regional hospital a day after the attack. Two other girls, aged 6 and 7, died during the Monday attack in Southport, a coastal town in northwest England, according to BBC News.

Five other children and two adults remained hospitalized in critical condition.

In a statement Monday, the police said a 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and murder, and a knife was seized after the attack.

Reacting via her Instagram account, Swift said the horror of the attack was “washing over” her continuously.

She wrote: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock.

“The loss of life and the innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders.

“These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
