Ogun NICF Hosts National, Zonal Coordinators

The Nigeria Immigration Christian Fellowship (NICF) Ogun State Command recently hosted the National Coordinator, Pastor Shimbe (DSI), and Zonal Coordinator, Deputy Comptroller Micheal Odeyinka, in a memorable event.

The occasion, which took place at the Ogun State Chapel on Thursday, February, was marked by warm hospitality and an inspiring gathering of the fellowship's members.

In his welcome address, the State Coordinator, CSI Mobolaji, expressed his gratitude to the National and Zonal Coordinators for honoring the fellowship with their presence.

Pastor Shimbe, the National Coordinator, delivered a powerful sermon titled "Reflecting the Light," where he emphasized the importance of Christians shining the light of Christ in their daily lives, especially in public service.

He encouraged the congregation to uphold Christian values of righteousness, integrity, and uprightness in all their activities, urging them to embody the light of Christ in their work.

According to Pastor Shimbe, reflecting the light of Christ brings honor, integrity, and blessings to individuals and their surroundings.

In his address, the Zonal Coordinator, Deputy Comptroller Micheal Odeyinka, focused on guidance from the book of Numbers, Chapter 16, underscoring the significance of seeking peace in personal relationships and public life.

Deputy Comptroller Odeyinka further encouraged the members to understand their true identity in Christ, urging them to stand firm in their faith and pursue peace with all men.

The fellowship session concluded with heartfelt prayers and a benediction by the State Coordinator, CSI Mobolaji, who expressed gratitude for the presence of both the National and Zonal Coordinators and their impactful messages.

After the service, the group paid a visit to the Comptroller of the Command, CIS A.M Akadri, to express appreciation for his unwavering support and contribution to the growth of the fellowship.

The event exemplified the fellowship's commitment to spiritual growth, community, and service, as members continue to reflect Christ's light in their duties and interactions.
